Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek is a skiing paradise in Colorado. It was in the year 1881 when the place was settled. It was reported that the previous President Gerald Ford and his wife, Betty Ford, had a home they loved dearly at Beaver Creek. Thus, Beaver Creek Resort was opened during the year 1980.

There are two towns in Beaver Creek, the Town of Avon and the Town of Edwards. Avon is situated at the Beaver Creek Resort base portion. It is by its main gate. It is a small town that may be enough for you to walk around and meet everyone. Even so, they have a complementary daily shuttle that connects to Beaver Creek Village and other locations that are within the city’s limits. Avon has a number of hotels and restaurants too.

Edwards, on the other hand, used to be a small farming and ranching community. It is on the west portion of Beaver Creek. It is known for its Riverwalk Pedestrian Mall and its Corner at Edwards shopping places. Aside from this, they have a movie theater, bars and restaurants in the town.

Beaver Creek Resort boasts of three distinct villages. Each village is different and filled with a lot of amazing skiing packages. These villages would be the Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch Village and Arrowhead Village.
Beaver Creek Village is the most popular among the three. It is on the eastern most portion of Beaver Creek Resort and considered as its main village. Their art galleries, quaint shops, restaurants and bars are all linked to by escalators and walkways that are heated. The accommodations they provide would be ski-in. This is made possible by the skiing bridges and the connecting trails of the resort.

Bachelor Gulch Village is situated on the west portion of the Beaver Creek Resort main village. It houses the Ritz-Carlton and it is also the home of Bachelor Gulch. It also takes part in the village-to-village ski experience. You will find an array of wonderful amenities during your stay in Bachelor Gulch Village. This would include a snowboard and ski school, lift ticketing office, retail equipment and apparel rental facilities, main access for the express lift of Bachelor Gulch that has intermediate and beginner terrains, outdoor bar and patios, restaurants, and a shuttle service going to Beaver Creek Village with a dial-a-ride program.

Arrowhead Village, on the other hand, is along the westernmost portion of Beaver Creek Resort. There are many vacation rental units and private homes in the area. The Vista Restaurant and Broke Arrow Restaurant considers Arrowhead Village as their permanent home. Thus, it basically has almost the similar amenities with the Bachelor Gulch Village.
