Crested Butte Mountain Resort

The Crested Butte is a well loved skiing destination in Colorado. Butte is being defined as “a mountain standing distinct and separate from the others”. Crested Butte is situated in the southwest portion of Colorado. It lies within the scenic Colorado Rocky Mountains’ Elk Mountain Range and the panoramic Gunnison National Forest. In Mount Crested Butte, they have a small population of about 707 people. The season here would go from November up to April every year. Their terrain is about 1,167 acres.
They have a total of about 16 lifts and it is operational from 9 AM up to 3 PM. Thus, there are also some that are open until 4 PM.

The resort has a lot of activities and wonderful areas for the whole family. This would include their Terrain Parks, Tubing Hill and their Atlas Snowshoe Loop. They also have about 8 restaurants and bars onsite, 5 nearby the resort, and 28 for the whole Crested Butte area. Thus, other popular things about the Crested Butte Mountain Resort would be their ASC or Adaptive Sports Center for the disabled; and their Nordic Skiing Center which provides groomed trails that are about 35 kilometers. These Nordic trails are for skate skiing, traditional skiing, sledding hill, snowshoeing and their ice rink.
